We Said It Then. We're Saying It Now. Believe Black Women.

Queue Points has always connected the dots between Black music, culture, and the real lives of Black people. In this clip from our episode ranking Diddy's public apology, Jay Ray and DJ Sir Daniel speak directly to the harm of intimate partner violence and why we, as a community, cannot look away.

We're posting this now because the violence hasn't stopped. At least six Black women were killed by husbands or partners in the first half of April 2026. More than 4 in 10 Black women experience physical violence from an intimate partner during their lifetimes, and Black women are twice as likely to be murdered by men than their white counterparts. The conversation DJ Sir Daniel and Jay Ray had then still applies right now.

Believe them. Support them. Don't look away.
